On April 10th, press release for ‘Showtime – Burning the BEAST’ was held at At CGV IFC MALL. All 6 members, Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yoseob, Jang Hyun-seung, Lee Gi-kwang, Yong Jun-hyung and Son Dong-woon participated in the event. Comedian Song Eun-yi was the MC of the show.
Following up EXO, BEAST will appear on the show. Producer Jang Jae-hyul said, “EXO were still rookies at the time. The viewers would feel more comfortable watching BEAST on the show. They will see something new with BEAST. We focused on the individuals’ characteristics with EXO but we will show BEAST just as they are”.

About the difference from EXO’s show, Jang Hyun-seung said, “It will be as interesting as the former show. We could probably be do as similar job as their work. Son Dong-woon is especially funny. You should watch the show”.
Lee Gi-kwang said, “Yong Jun-hyung and Jang Hyun-seung do not usually talk much. But they will show different characteristics this time. I think The viewers will find it really interesting”.
Son Dong-woon said, “You’d probably think we look manly on stage. But I think we have fresh charms ad high school students. The difference will be the funny elements of the show”.

The press release was held on the first day of the show, ‘Showtime – Burning the BEAST’.
Yoon Doo-joon said, “There are two parts in the first episode. The first part includes scenes of finding the members. The second part is the Q&A session. We had a talk show in a café and we really had a great time as we hadn’t met in a long time with all of us together. Our reactions and answers will be really funny. You’ll enjoy it”.
Jang Hyun-seung said, “You should focus on BEAST’s witty words. Well, you can enjoy only part of them in the first episode. Youngest member Dong-woon was really funny”

Lee Gi-kwang has been on many variety shows. He said Yong jun-hyung and Jang Hyun-seung will be the hidden card. He said, “They both have cold images like city dwellers but they’ll be full of surprises on the show. They were really enthusiastic from the beginning of the shooting”.
Yong Jun-hyung answered to what Lee Gi-kwang had just said, saying “The viewers could enjoy the real lives of BEAST members and how we spend our time all together. As Gi-kwang said, we were all very passionate about the show. You can check that out in the first episode of our show”.
Youngest member Son Dong-woon said, “I was 20 when I was on reality TV show. The other members were younger than my age now. You can compare me, now 24, and the older members, 26, and find it very interesting. That is the point of watching the show”.

EXO did what they promised about the TV ratings of 2%. Son Dong-woon said he would try ‘free-hugging’ if the ratings draw 1.5%.
